Olivia Stutz’s eye is contemporary and artful, merging quality finishes, natural materials and vintage pieces from galleries and marketplaces to create collected interior spaces. Discovering emerging artisans and design talent, Stutz introduces up-and-coming makers into her projects, creating avant-garde, yet relaxed, residences. Whether from an emerging gallery in New York’s Lower East Side or an artisan in Paris, Stutz is constantly sourcing pieces with a significant sense of place. Based between New York and Miami, Stutz’s designs capture the essence of their distinct location and fit the lifestyles of her creative and interesting clients. Belgian linen, original hardwood flooring, handcrafted ceramics and plaster are a few integral materials which embody her design ethos. Years of Stutz’s studies in design practices and elements as well as her appreciation and experience curating art shines through in her work.

Stutz’s use of color, texture, and high quality design elements reflect her wide range of clients’ eclectic lifestyles and collections. Known for creating personality driven spaces that are both timeless and modern, Stutz regularly fuses multiple design styles to present a unique sensibility.

Training

Stutz trained in interior architecture at UC Berkeley, and went on to develop creative concepts at Restoration Hardware. Upon moving to NY in 2016, she established her eponymous studio at just 27 years old.
